The Amerigo Leather Care range consists of all-natural, non-petroleum products that clean well without being too harsh. They are non-soapy, won’t dry out your leather and safe on calfskin.
Amerigo leather care products have been specially developed for use on naturally tanned leather including that used in their own saddles and bridles.
Amerigo Soft Clean is a non-soapy cleaning agent that can deeply clean all of your leather horse wear. Where this product differs though, is in its extremely delicate action which won’t fade the leather during cleaning and removes dirt and sweat from the leather without drying it out. Amerigo Soft Clean not only cleans the leather but helps protect it as well. The special agents within the cleanser help keep the leather soft and protect it from the elements as well as heat, UV light and sweat, helping prolong the life of your tack. This cleanser is one of the top products on the market today and is guaranteed to keep all your leather products looking as good as new.
Amerigo Soft Clean Natural Leather Cleaner is made to help you clean the unique structure of fine leatherwork without drying it out. Start with some water and a rag to clean off your tack. Apply Amerigo soft clean to a sponge to provide a deep clean, easily lifting away deep dirt and sweat without being too harsh on your hands or the leather. Allow to dry and rub in some Amerigo soft oil to restore your leather. Finally, finish up with a thin layer of protective Amerigo soft grease.
Amerigo Soft Oil should be applied before the initial use of new saddles and bridles. Amerigo Soft Oil is an all-natural blend of triglycerides (tallow) that protects saddles and bridles from sweat and humidity, the main causes of leather deterioration. To find the best oil for leather, be sure to know where your leather comes from. You want to use an oil that comes from the same region your leather comes from (this is true for tack leather oil as well as leather oil for boots). Amerigo Soft Oil is from Italy.
Use Amerigo Soft Oil after your leather is cleaned using Amerigo Soft Clean. Apply Amerigo Soft Oil to leather using a soft, dry cloth. Distribute evenly with circular movements to aid complete absorption. Allow to dry before use.
Amerigo Soft Grease maintains and conditions all leather saddlery and tack. Soft grease protects the leather by creating a natural barrier and waterproof effect which helps to prevent premature ageing caused by sweat, UV light and heat. Deeply moisturising, regular use conditions the leather and leaves it soft and supple, with a lustrous shine and a comfortable grip for the rider. Not suitable for suede or synthetic leathers.
Amerigo soft grease is designed to protect and moisturize. The waterproofing effect of Amerigo Soft Grease AKA Amerigo Soft Balm helps keep leather clean, supple and protected for years, resulting in leather that looks new even after years of use. Perfect to soften leather. Use Amerigo Soft Grease after the leather has been cleaned using Amerigo Soft Clean. Apply Amerigo soft grease using a soft cloth, allow to dry then polish with a clean cloth.
Amerigo Soft Care is a combined cleaner and conditioner in a spray-on bottle, it’s great for ringside, last-minute tack and boot cleaning.
