The Busse Professional leather lunge cavesson is beautifully made from top quality European leather with solid brass fittings.

Extremely robust but also horse-friendly, with a soft gel-padded noseband and an innovative design of cavesson iron that hinges only at the sides so that it fits particularly well and is less inclined to rotate. The front of the iron is curved to the shape of a horse’s nose but without being hinged, so is far more stable with none of the sloppiness and ‘clanking’ you often get with other cavessons.

A separate sliphead passes over the top of the headpiece through a retaining loop, allowing you to attach a bit. This is a much more comfortable arrangement for the horse than using a cavesson over the top of a bridle and gives a better experience with uninterrupted rein aids that is particularly valuable when working with young horses. The sliphead is removable in seconds if not required.
