Please note: the pictures show the two colours to have a slightly different design and a different buckle in the centre. This is incorrect. Both colours have the design of the brown girths and have D-rings. They are identical in every way apart from their colour.

A beautiful quality leather dressage girth from Kavalkade, the ‘Comfort’ girth is anatomically shaped for freedom of movement and ideal pressure distribution.

Made from organically tanned German leather with top quality no-rust stainless steel fittings, recessed stitching and elasticated at both ends.

A central D-ring is unobtrusive but allows you to attach training aids quickly and easily.

We especially like the fact that the girth is exceptionally soft and flexible throughout, with no hard edges whatsoever. Every part of this girth is soft and moves with the horse, whilst the gel-filled lining provides extra comfort and cushioning from end to end. Having previously experienced short leather girths as hard at the edges and uncomfortable for the horse, we are delighted to have found these.

Measurements:

8.5cm across at elbow (narrowest point)

12cm across at the ends

17.75cm across the centre (widest point)

Each size is in proportion, so smaller girths will have slightly (maximum 0.5cm) smaller widths, and larger girths will be slightly wider.

Measurement for the sizes is taken from buckle end to buckle end. The girth itself extends beyond the buckles by 3 to 5cm, again according to the girth size.

This is a strong girth in thick, supple leather that will remain soft throughout its lifetime and last for many years.
