The acclaimed Kavallastic safety halter has the front of the noseband and the entire headpiece made of sturdy elastic web, whilst the rest of the halter is high quality, durable webbing. If the horse becomes hooked up – whether in the field, the stable, or during transport – the elastic webbing ensures it can free itself. Panic and injuries are avoided. Trauma to the head, especially the nose and poll area, are avoided, plus the halter does not break, it just stretches and then returns to shape again when the pull is released.
The Kavallastic Field Safe Headcollar has strong stainless steel fittings, with a safe slide buckle adjustment, plus velcro fastening removeable neoprene padding on both nose and headpiece. The very best safety headcollar, giving piece of mind during turn-out, transport and any time you have to leave a horse unattended whilst wearing a headcollar. Brilliant for hard to catch horses that live out 24/7 as they don’t rub, fit really well and are super comfortable for the horse. Very economical after the initial outlay as they last for many years and never lose their elasticity and strength. Mud and rain are no problem at all, just hose them off and hang to dry or chuck them in the washing machine.
