Sprenger Single Jointed, Loose Ring, 12mm Bradoon, model number: 40212

This is the slimmest bradoon that Sprenger make, with a mouthpiece diameter of 12mm.

Dressage legal under all rules.

The stainless steel rings are standard bradoon size of 5.5cm across.

Materials: Sensogan mouthpiece with stainless steel rings.

Manufactured in the following sizes: 4 3/4″, 5 1/8″, 5 1/2″, 6″

This very slim bradoon is suited to horses that have a limited amount of space in their mouth due to having a low and/or flat palate, or a large tongue in a small mouth, etc. Horses with this sort of mouth conformation often prefer a slimmer bit simply because it’s more comfortable for them.

Having a single joint, it is also useful for horses that tend to ignore the aids or lean on a double-jointed or lozenge type bradoon and can be used to give a more effective half-halt.
