Sprenger Ultra Fit Balkenhol Dressage Spurs in German Silver with a smooth, ‘006’ rowel.

Dressage legal with the exception of Young Horse classes.

The ’40’ in the model numbers indicates that this model is made from Sprenger’s patented ‘German Silver’ alloy, which is made from 65% copper, giving it a stunning pale gold colour & a little more weight, which makes them easier to use & nicer to ride in.

The ‘006’ indicates the type of rowel, which is a smooth ‘wheel’ rowel that has soft, rounded edges. The rowels are made from stainless steel. As with all of Sprenger’s top of the range spurs, these have a 100% guarantee against breakage. Classic spurs that will last you a lifetime.

This model has a 40mm neck including the rowel, which is the longest that Sprenger make in a rowelled spur.

It has the patented elegant and fine ‘Klaus Balkenhol’ ultra-fit fastening design which allows the spurs to fit more securely & comfortably, with less wear and tear on the spur straps and less likelihood of the spurs dropping down on your boots.

As with all of Sprenger’s German Silver spurs, these are particularly nice to ride in as the extra weight encourages a heels-down leg position & makes the rider more aware of when the spurs are making contact with the horse.
