This bradoon has extra-small wire-formed rings that are particularly neat and very effective in preventing interference between the bradoon rings and the heads of the Weymouth in a double bridle set of bits.

Sprenger also make this bradoon with flat rings (model nr. 40244), which are bigger than the rings of this model. Please see our pictures of the two models together, clearly showing the different style of ring.

As well as the obvious use as a bradoon bit, this model also makes a lovely snaffle for ponies and horses with a petite head.

The Dynamic RS has an ergonomically formed mouthpiece which lies perfectly in the horse’s mouth, resulting in soft & even pressure on the entire tongue area & encouraging the horse to chew. In addition, this bit supports the contact to the corners of the mouth in a very effective way, keeping the horse on the bit. The gentle joint in the centre, which is angled forwards in the same manner as the KK Ultra bits, along with the fine eggbutt design makes it a very ‘friendly’ bit, for soft but very effective aids & a better contact between horse & rider.

Due to the curved joints the bit remains in the correct and central position on the tongue. The fine lozenge can direct gentle pressure pivotally onto the tongue. The bit encourages the confidence of the horse in the rider‘s hand and increases safety.

Many horses prefer an eggbutt bit, which tends to be stiller in the mouth & appears to give horses a feeling of security & confidence. This is a mild bradoon, with a gentle action that encourages horses to reach forward into the contact.
