Materials: Sensogan mouthpiece with stainless steel cheeks.

Mouthpiece Diameter: 16mm (medium thickness, suits practically all horses).

Cheek size: 65mm (standard Sprenger eggbutt snaffle size)

Novocontact: Uniquely shaped, especially sensitive.

Developed after many years of scientific research, the revolutionary Sprenger Novocontact mouthpiece creates a unique oval shape in the mouth which widens the contact surface on the tongue, helping the rider to maintain regularity in the contact. As the rider applies the rein aid, the unique mouthpiece turns forward, narrowing the surface area of the bit which comes into contact with the tongue, thus ensuring a more precise aid is delivered and improving communication.

Combined with the eggbutt cheeks, this Novocontact double-jointed snaffle is ideal for horses that need to seek the contact more and/or tend to tuck behind the vertical.

The double-jointed Novocontact bits are ideal to use on horses that occasionally tend to pull against the hand, but are too sensitive to be ridden with a stronger bit; they are stronger than the single jointed bits.

Novocontact bits improve the interaction between horse and rider for a better contact and acceptance of the bit. The single jointed Novocontact bits are particularly suited for use on horses that do not take the bit contact very confidently or who are too sensitive to be ridden in other bits.
