Developed from many years of scientific research, the revolutionary Sprenger Novocontact mouthpiece creates a unique oval shape in the mouth which widens the contact surface on the tongue helping the rider to maintain regularity in the contact. As the rider applies the rein aid, the mouthpiece turns forward, narrowing the surface area of the bit which comes into contact with the tongue, thus ensuring a more precise aid is delivered and improving communication.

Combined with the loose rings, the Novocontact single joint snaffle is ideal for promoting self-carriage whilst teaching the horse to seek and maintain the contact.

The single jointed loose ring snaffles are particularly suited for use on horses that do not take the bit contact very confidently or who are too sensitive to be ridden in other bits; they are milder than the double-jointed bits. Novocontact bits improve the interaction between horse and rider for a better contact and acceptance of the bit.

Made from Sprenger’s Sensogan patented material for a sensitive connection to the horse. The innovative mix of materials, including the micronutrient manganese and a reduced copper content, increases the horse’s chewing activity and salivation in a targeted manner. Sensogan achieves optimal concentration, calmness and relaxation with horses being much more willing to perform. Sensogan bits are particularly suitable for sensitive horses.
