An exciting new model from Sprenger, the Pronamic Loose Ring Snaffle Bit has been developed by bit expert Heiko Schmidt-Sentek in collaboration with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Benjamin Werndl. It is part of a range of anatomically curved single jointed bits featuring a forward flared port. These bits encourage horses of an advanced training level to carry themselves and to step forward to the hand/bit while staying elevated and through the neck.
When it comes to showjumping, the Pronamic bits are especially effective for horses that energetically pull to the obstacle and tend to tighten up their neck. Due to the special shape of the bit, the rider has a more effective influence without having to become too strong.
This bit is also suitable for sensitive horses and those with thinner tongues, however they are only recommended by Sprenger for horses that have completed the basic training levels correctly and solidly.
Professional opinions: “The development process of the Pronamic bits together with Sprenger was a really exciting project and we are proud of the result. The special shape of the Pronamic is very suitable for different types of horses and leads to a better connection by encouraging the horse to step into the contact” – Benjamin Werndl
“Especially with Dalera, I noticed that she took the contact even more confidently and increased her degree of self-carriage. The Pronamic accompanied me to Tokyo and the result there was very good” – Jessica von Bredow-Werndl
