Utzon Grand Prix Snaffle Bridle
Utzon Equestrian are an exciting Danish company making exquisite bridlework with the comfort and freedom of movement of the horse at the forefront of their designs. Utzon bridles are anatomically designed to avoid peak pressure locations under the noseband, near the cheekbones and headpiece. Anatomically shaped bridles are associated with more uniform pressure and increased carpal and tarsal flexion compared with a standard bridle (Journal of Equine Veterinary Science 35 (2015) 947–955).
The Utzon Grand Prix bridle has a well-padded noseband and browband for good comfort for the horse. The noseband is narrow for optimal pressure relief on the cheek teeth. In addition, the weight of the bridle is taken comfortably on a wide and padded headpiece that is anatomically shaped for optimal pressure relief. Both the noseband and browband have plaited details. The bridle comes with a removable fancy flash strap, so the bridle can be used with different kinds of bits and for shows as well where no flash noseband is needed. This exclusive bridle is handmade of the finest Italian leather by experienced craftsmen.
