All WH Ultra bits have an arrow on one end of the mouthpiece. The bit should be fitted with the arrow on the left-hand side of the horse’s head and facing forwards.

The WH Ultra snaffle is based on the best-selling KK Ultra, with the only difference being the addition of a ‘wheel’ or ‘roller’ suspended vertically in the centre of the lozenge, which acts to draw the horse’s focus onto the tongue. The WH Ultra range of bits is highly recommended for horses that are unresponsive to the rein aids. The unique roller gently stimulates the tongue to utilise its highly sensitive sense of touch in an incomparable way. The horse relaxes and stays focused on the tongue (and therefore the aids), preventing it from being so easily distracted and hence more responsive to the aids. The result is a more attentive horse, relaxed and listening to the rider.
